why don't they just make a movie like a cartoon, so it doesn't suck
First of all, we all know this movie sucked, but there's one fact: It was originally planned to be named like the animated series is based: Avatar. But unfortunately, James Cameron released a non-related but awesome movie called... Avatar. So, instead they put the subtitle of the series as the official name of the movie.
And then we got many issues like the lack of asian actors, to the aforementioned acting and story. It gained various Razzies.
And that says a lot
I remember when I went with my father and some others to watch it
It wasn't even laughably bad
It was also depressing to watch all the Avatar fans (hell, some of them even wore cosplays) walking out of the theater with less than smiles on their faces
Oh, and "Avatar: The Last Airbender" isn't of Japanese origin, it was made here in the good ol' U-S-of-A. It's a western cartoon heavily inspired by anime, but by technicality, it's not an anime in and of itself.
Movie: Kill me now
Love your stamp ♥
The movie is terrible in other ways, though. I think this thread sums it up pretty well.
